If you do not score high enough to get AP credit, take the CLEP exams. The AP exams are harder, yet give the same advantage as the CLEP exams - college credits. I took the AP English class, but I didn’t bother to take the AP English exam. The CLEP exam cost less and I scored high enough to get credit for two semesters of college English.
